When customers purchase sunny hill free range eggs they are guaranteed that we only sell eggs from free range hens that are both RSPCA freedom food accredited and approved by Organic Farm Producers.
Sunny Hill Organic Free Range Eggs are produced by Organic Free Range Hens housed in a Purpose Built Hen House. The Hens are fed organically produced feed and the stocking levels are in line with he stringent criteria set our by the Organic Farmers and Growers Association.
We are situated on the beautiful Northumbrian coastline nestled between Lindisfarne Bay and the Cheviot Hills. The egg business is run by Christine Jackson, the youngest of daughters and she is helped by her eldest sister Catherine.
Our family has always had an affinity with our animals and from the outset we have tried to follow best practice;
this started with the building of the house and continues into the welfare of our poultry, which are now able to enjoy a spectacular
view of Lindisfarne.
To reflect our commitment to hen welfare and producing our quality Northumbrian eggs we set up an egg production unit that met
the highest possible industry standards. We pride ourselves on the excellence and professionalism of our egg business and take
pleasure in the compliments we have received so far from both the poultry industry and consumers alike.
Sunnyhill Free Range Eggs is a new business that offers locally produced eggs to the consumers of the North
East of England and the Scottish Borders.
